ICCF – Improved Cascode Cathode Follower

ICCF is the tube configuration designed and developed in the Audiozen laboratories.

Initially designed for the Aedo tube DAC, after many positive feedbacks ICCF was implemented on the Insight preamplifier.
In every channel a NOS variable conductance double triode is used as impedance adapter, to better interfacing the output of  Insight to the connected equipment, linearizing output level and providing constant current.

This configuration ensures an excellent control over the entire audio band, providing stability of operation and avoiding current fluctuations. So there will be all the benefits of the tubes, warmth, great scene, focus, along with transparency, consistency and fine detail.
